I feel fortunate to have flown for the pioneering Skyknight Program for 25 yrs. I saw and experienced many cool things and made many friends. I retired in 2005 and so my rotors have stopped. I started flying in 1971, at nineteen, with a coupon for a five dollar demo ride in a Cessna 150 and was hooked. Back then I could lease a Cessna 150 for eleven bucks an hour. In 1978 I earned two rotorcraft add-ons which led to employment with Lakewood, Ca. Skyknight in 1980. 17,000 hrs later I retired due to Parkinson's. I was very glad to find out why my right hand had begun to slightly shake at the same frequency as the cyclic and the pedals felt very strange on crosswind approaches in and out of the station helipad. The rotors have stopped turning in the air but are still going strong on the ground.

Long time friend, but certainly not forgotten. In her day, she was one of the best.
